Vale da Pinta Description

Vale da Pinta Golf Course is located on the outskirts of the village of Carvoeiro. The course is well laid out and is an interesting and challenging course to play. Set in a truly Algarve landscape with almond, olive and carob trees decorating the fairways that roll through small valleys and hills. Some of the olive trees are reputed to be in the region of 1,500 years old.

Two holes that deserve special mention are the par 3 tenth and the par 5 thirteenth. The former has a large bunker defending the green against your shot, the latter, runs along a valley for some 541 metres.

Top course. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted well, all of our requests (buggies, 3 sets of hire clubs) were ready to go. The course is a good challenge and is set out beautifully. It is very well maintained, excellent staff amd well set out in the club house. Would happily recommend

Tees, greens and fairways in excellent condition, and Vale da Pinta is very picturesque golf course. Service in pro-shop and bar and restaurant was great. On line green fee was reasonable at E69, but the only niggle was the E50 charge for the buggy. That’s too much, hence a 4 star rating.

First time of playing this course. You really need to plot your way around it as there a lot of blind tee shots and doglegs but an enjoyable experience none the less. Not much scope for your driver when playing off the yellow tees unless you know exactly where you are going. Definitely worth a visit though.
