Morgado Description

The Morgado Golf Course is situated to the north of the town of Portimao and is the sister course to the Álamos Course. The Morgado Golf Course is laid out in a large 980 hectare estate through undulating small valleys. The immediate main characteristic factors are generous fairways and its large greens which place demand on good putting skills. Also, the accuracy of the players shot will be questioned by deep aggressive bunkers.

First nine were okay but nothing spectacular, back nine were much nicer. The course was in pretty condition despite dry conditions. Brand new buggy’s and top service from the caddie master cold drinks and ice bucket on our cart. Because of the reasonable price I would like to rate this an 8.

Rather boring course. Well maintained - greens top, fairways ok. Generally this course is overated.

Course was in very good condition. Apart from the first hole. Which doesn't set a good impression. Not the most challenging course for a low handicap player as its pretty wide open. Though it does have a number of strategic bunkers dotted about. But an enjoyable course to play. I would defo return.

Great course in very good shape. Friendly and accommodating staff, all in all worth the expense, too bad our games weren't quite up to par. Highly recommend it for others.
