The outward first five holes are through the pine tree forest. Water and good hole layouts provides the hazards that play a big part in players having to select the right club and hit with care. The eighteenth is a tricky Par-4 mainly involving a lake that is just waiting for the inaccurate shot.

Obvious disadvantage is lack of clubhouse and course looks a little scruffy around the edges hence only 4 stars. However, the views and course layout are excellent and the greens were well maintained. Thought it a nice touch they included a packed lunch for everyone in our party at no extra cost.

The review would have been 5 star were it not for the temporary facilities whilst the new clubhouse is being built. A warm welcome and a complimentary picnic box with sandwiches, fruit and water. The course is really interesting with well laid out with holes running inland, along the coast and the salt beds to the east. Very quiet and very enjoyable.

A shadow of its former self, unfortunately. Cart paths dangerously bumpy. Course poorly presented and badly managed. Single portakabin toilet disgusting. Should be half price or closed and totally renovated while new clubhouse is built.
