I have been coming to the Algarve to play golf for over 40yrs and have played Pinhal many times. It never was one of my favourite venues but I must say that over the 2 or 3 occasions I have played here it appears to get better every time.Well done to all the greens staff for making the difference.

Vila Sol was the last course we played on our six day holiday. They offered an excellent deal with buggies included. The course was in good condition and offered a true test of golf.It was a pleasure to play here and I will certainly return I stay 10 mins from here so it was really easy to get to

I have played here before and the course is just ok, however it was packed with what I Will described as non golfers so the round took in excess of 5hrs to play.I would describe the course as a very average municipal venue.I will not be rushing back

I have played golf all over the world and always rated the Old Course as my 2nd favourite behind Birkdale. How disappointing it was to see how the course had deteriorated since I last played here about 5 yrs ago. The buggies were slow and in poor condition. All the cart paths were in a very poor dilapidated condition .The tee’s fairways and greens were just about ok but when you are paying top rate green fees I expect better.So dissatisfied that we did not stay after the game for our usual couple of beers.I do hope they sort the place out

Never played here before so did not know what to expect. Found it to be similar to a few courses I had played in southern Spain. Definitely a course where buggies are a must.Lots of weird bounces on fairways which was challenging.It may be good to return in about another 5 yrs when the course is more established

Not played the Millennium for quite a long time so was pleasantly surprised by the good condition it was in.Could not fault any part of the venue and will have no problem returning again in the future

Pinhal used to be the poor relation in the Don Pedro venues but each time I play it I am never disappointed Without doubt I will play here again

A course in reasonable condition but expensive for what it is

A typical challenging Algarve course in good condition Bit of an issue with buggies but resolved before we teed offA lot of various levels of golfers on the course so it became a very long 5hr plus round which took away the joy of the golf

A long time had passed since I last played this course and I hardly remembered it with all the changes made.Still a great course with some great views of Lagos in the distance.A good links type venue with some great holes

Unfortunately we had a couple of thunderstorms so our game was interrupted twice but during this time the staff were great in making sure everyone was safe and well catered for The course was very good and a good challenge for usWe will return soon

Played at 3pm on Wednesday and was very pleased with the way the course was presented. Speed of play was ok considering some people were walking and others were in buggies. Our buggy was brand new and was the best I have ever had in the Algarve. Only disappointment was the bar had closed when we finished.

Great course and friendly staff, one or two scruffy areas but in the main course in good condition.Enjoyable and on the doorstep.

A dream course in fantastic condition. Fairways are like lush carpets, greens are fantastic speed and as true as you can get. One of my favourite courses of all time. Simply superb and one to go back to again and again.

An ideal resort golf course in good condition. Staff are friendly and facilities are good. Well worth a visit

Long time since I last played here but it was still as good as I remembered it. Perhaps not the longest course in the Algarve any more but Henry Cotton designed it to be a good test of your complete game and it did not disappoint I look forward to going back again

Course was in really good condition although green could have been a little quickerAll facilities were very good and the package was great value

Played in early September and the course was playable but looked a bit tired in places with quite a lot of divots on the fairways playing area. Otherwise very enjoyable
