Font nine are as good as everything on the Algarve, back nine are not the same quality. But overall fun to play, very good condition. For me better as some of the well known courses at Val de Lobo and Quinta, not as good as Victoria.

Some nice holes close to the ocean, very nice par 3 right in the beach. The rest is ok, many blind uphill tee shots. Some greens have many dry spots. Good deals in the afternoon, played in 3 hours as a twosome at 12:10.

Ombria is spectacular, but more scenic than a series and good golf course. The front nine plays thru a very narrow valley and up step hills, the back nine on the other side of a hill. Play it once and decide if it fits you. Condition was good for a new course, service excellent.

Its an executive course, nice for a quick 9 hole round. But if golf schools are out it can be boring. Very shot, the spectacular tee box on hole 5 is gone. Hole 6 is the signature holt over a canyon, but from the back tees you barley see the target.

Good course, a bit of Florida style, great condition, only the rough is very heavy. Front nine are more hills, the back 9 have a lot of water. In September overpriced, buggy for 55€ is to much. Not much people play it, I was in in 3:10h

Played the south on the opening day. Great condition, some very welcome improvements, for example hole no 8. But it is basically the same course with lots of uphill second shots. Good course, overpriced, not world class

Best course in Vilamoura, in very good condition, interesting layout. Played it on a quiet August midday in less than 3 hours. Definitely one of the best courses in the Algarve. Why not 5 stars? For me there is no world class course 5 star course in the Algarve

Great Nicklaus design, the best on the Algarve. Great holes, very scenic and demanding. Only the conditions are disappointing, very slow greens and dry fairways. They had a wildfire a week before, but the declining conditions are a issue for my last visit 2020 as well. For me a 4,5 star course in 3 star condition

The Old course is a classic design in very good condition. Some holes are a little tight, the front nine are better. Not a world class design but very good. One of the very best on the coast.

Maybe the most beautiful course on the Algarve. The issue is the condition for years. Not bad, but not as good as the design. They build a pedestrian bridge on the holes around the holes 5 and 6. It is visually a disaster. 50 Euros for a buggy without screen of the course is way to much
