Never played Gramacho before but what a pleasant surprise. The course was in good condition and we were paired with 2 guys from Essex who we had a good laugh with. Twilight round - managed to get round 16. Unfortunately too dark to play 17 & 18 which look great holes. Quite a quirky course and very undulating with a few blind shots. No 2 holes the same so an interesting round. Greens are slopey and quite tricky!

Great course in decent condition considering all the rain they had had got the last month or so. Played 2 rounds. On the Tues we got paired with 2 great guys and had a very enjoyable round. On the Thurs we were a 2 ball stuck behind 3-4 groups of hackers. What we could see in front of us defied belief. Not sure why they ask for your World Handicap Index at Reception as they clearly don’t check it. The people in front of us shouldn’t be on a golf course of this standard and price. 5 minute waits on every shot not acceptable. I phoned reception and complained and also spoke to the on course Marshall but he just shrugged and said “it’s slow today”.
