Right on the Spanish border, youll find this beautiful (and challenging) golf course.The first 10 holes are played with a constant fear of hitting the ball into the water, so good course management will definitely be rewarded, but the last eight holes are played in the hills, and offer a completely different type of golf.The only downside to the course was the amount of sand in all bunkers (some of them actually didnt have any - it was mud and clay), but we were told, that theyre in the process of being renovated.If they can guarantee that the bunkers are in good shape, Id definitely love to come back,

What a beautiful course (maybe we are biased because of being blinded by the constant sunshine in mid-february).The Orange Grove is one of most beautiful courses in Algarve - course layout is great, fairways are beautiful and greens are fast but true. There are a few holes which reward the gutsy (but great) shot, but overall its a course that offers a lot to golfers of varying abilities.Ive promised myself (and my 12 y/o son, who was not with me on this trip), that were coming back to Laranjal.The whole setup on all three courses at Quinta do Lago is second to none, and Ill recommend to everyone whos going to Algarve to play golf, to try all three courses.

I have never experienced such an unfriendly place to play golf.Everything (from driving range to the course itself) was the least appealing of all the courses we played in Algarve.I will definitely not recommend playing at Boavista.

Beautiful, fast greens and well maintained. The South course at Quinta Do Lago is a must for everyone playing golf in Algarve.
